Statement of Faith

This ministry is an interdenominational, evangelical PreK-12 Christian school that subscribes to the Apostles’ Creed and confesses that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God. These are revealed for salvation by the Holy Spirit and, therefore, are the ultimate standard for faith and life.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

  1. We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. Proverbs 2:3-6; Psalm 12:6, Proverbs 30:5-6; 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Psalm 119:89-93; John 1:1-5, Isaiah 55:9-11; Matthew 5:17-18

  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    Deuteronomy 5:32-6:18; Exodus 3:13-15; Luke 22:67-70; Psalm 92:4-8 Romans 11:33-36; Exodus 34:5, Romans 9:14-18

  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

    1 Corinthians 15:1-8, 12-28, 58; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18, 23-25; Isaiah 53:4-5; Romans 3:23-26; Isaiah 53:11-12; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
    Romans 5:12-6:18; Psalm 51:1-3; Romans 6:1-4; Ezekiel 11:19-22; 1 Peter 1:3-6; Lamentations 3:22-26; Acts 4:12; Ephesians 2:8-10

  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling hand the Christian is empowered and enabled to live a life of godliness and effective service.

    John 15:18-16:16; Matthew 25:31-46; Isaiah 11:2-3a; Galatians 5:22-25; Joshua 22:3-5; Matthew 20:25-28; Psalm 16:7-11; John 14:15-17

  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
    Matthew 13:24-52; Job 19:25-27; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Daniel 12:1b-3;

    Revelation 20:12-15; Jowl 2:31-32; Matthew 3:47-51

  7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Ephesians 4:1-16, 25-32, 5:1-2; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Ephesians 4:2-6; Psalm 95:1,2,6,7; Acts 2:42,44,46,47; Ecclesiastes 4:9,10,12; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Hebrews 10:23-25

Philosophy of Education

One of the greatest joys of Christian education is the opportunity to nurture and develop a student’s God-given skills, gifts, and abilities.

We treasure this invaluable opportunity to guide students through a wide range of vibrant learning experiences as mandated in Proverbs 22:6 to “train up a child in the way he should go.”

This training for all students, PreK-12 includes:

  •  Partnership with parents (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)

  •  Integration of Biblical truths and worldview throughout every academic discipline

to encourage students to see, think, and live in the light of God’s Word

  • Rigorous academics taught by teachers who are committed to engage each student in the learning process so that it translates into a desire for lifelong learning

  • Creative arts which stimulate the growth of each student’s unique God-given talents

  • A dynamic Christian community that allows students to share proof of God’s love in action

  • A school community committed to support students from all backgrounds and educational levels, helping them to achieve their best, both personally and academically

Knowing that students of today face an immense amount of change ahead of them, United Christian Academy is a PreK-12 Christian school that proclaims that God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. We recognize the need for a strong education for each student, PreK through 12th grade, to adapt to the changing times while providing a foundation of Biblical truth on which to stand. This is what sets United Christian Academy apart. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, or part of a sports team, our students are prepared for the next level through rigorous academics and high expectations.
