Jase Anderson, our 1st grade teacher at UCA, is carrying out a legacy that began when she was a middle schooler. Jase attended Christian Life Academy (one of our legacy schools) growing up, and graduated in the class of 2018.
When she was in sixth grade, her teacher was Mr. Morrison who is currently Dr. Morrison, the elementary principal at UCA. Mr. Morrison saw the potential in Jase, and believed that she was meant to be a teacher someday. He saw it in her before she saw it in herself, and empowered her to step into those capabilities.
Also while a student at Christian Life Academy, Jase played volleyball and was coached by Mrs. Denise Larson. Coach Larson instilled leadership qualities in Jase that she carried with her through her college volleyball career, and then into the present day as she coaches her own volleyball teams here at UCA side by side with Coach Larson.
“I am so passionate about passing these skills that I learned from this legacy school down to my first graders and to the girls that I coach. I want to leave a legacy at UCA.”
