🌸🐣 The 5th graders hid eggs for their younger buddies to find, and once the hunt was over, they opened them together to discover fun treats! They also discovered clues that were revealed in a certain order to help learn the significance of the Easter and Resurrection story. 💜
What a sweet way to connect and grow together in faith! ✝️

🎉 The Emergency Medical Response students crushed it!
They recently went to Crown College to take their skills exam and passed all five of their skills on the first try! 💪👏 Even the Crown evaluators were impressed!
Here they are celebrating with their trusty mannequin after successfully completing:

💧 Oxygen administration
🩺 Medical patient assessment
🩹 Trauma patient assessment
While there's still a bit more to cover before official certification, the toughest hurdle is behind them. Way to go, future responders! 🚑🔥

Last week, our graduating seniors spent some intentional time together preparing for all the exciting events ahead! 🎓
They took a group photo and talked through plans for the senior breakfast, graduation, and more. Then, they headed to the Mall of America for some fun at the Mirror Maze and lunch together. A great mix of planning, memories, and celebration as they head into their final weeks at UCA! 💜🎉

✈️🎨 6th Grade Art Student Soars in Aviation Contest!
Our 6th grade art students recently participated in the NASAO Aviation Art Contest with the theme "Women with Wings." Students created inspiring artwork celebrating barrier-breaking women in aviation.
We're thrilled to share that Jae Hee’s piece, featuring the first armless woman to fly a plane, won 1st place in Minnesota for her age group and is headed to the national competition in Washington, D.C.!

Our 6th grade class stepped up as volunteer "patients" for our 11th/12th grade EMR students during Pediatric Week! 👩⚕️👨⚕️ Each 6th grader acted out a medical scenario—like appendicitis, a diabetic emergency, asthma attack, bee sting, and more—while the EMR students used their assessment skills to determine what was going on.
Treating pediatric patients is different from working with adults or teens, so this was an awesome hands-on opportunity to practice communication, build confidence, and take vital signs in a kid-focused way. Great job to both groups for making it such a valuable experience! 🩺👏

Each student has "adopted" a marshmallow Peep as part of a fun and meaningful activity introduced by Mrs. Ray. In addition to caring for their Peep, students are reflecting on what it means to be responsible. 🐥
